Our IT department recently upgraded to Domino 8.x and from that point forward a number of people have been unable to access certain types of emails over IMAP with Apple Mail.

When we try to view notification emails from tools such as Bugzilla or RT: Request Tracker, Apple Mail claims the need to go online to download the message. But the account is online as we're able to view all other types of emails.

This is happening with Apple Mail in 10.4 and 10.5. I've currently switched to ThunderBird which does not have the same problem. I'm always able to access the emails via Notes 7.x client.

Has anyone else seen this problem with Apple Mail, or found a work around?
